i love you like bus rides in nepal
like the temple on the hill, like the fire in the street
like the red bricks and the blue bricks
i love you like the stitches my mum sewed in my pants
(and more than the bird on my leg)
welcome to my alphabet garden, notice i have purposely planted the u and i next to each other,
they help each other grow
and the colors of their flowers compliment each other
i wish we had better structure and a stronger meal plan, but most of the funding went into designing the cute uniforms
"please help me, i have brought biscuits for the dogs"
i don't think i miss most things from home, i enjoy being away: maybe i won't return
you and i are like flags in the winds and buses with flat tires
i am a mispelled word no one notices
and you are the music everyone can't help but dance to
once again, i was too honest and pushed you away (i am sorry)
slip me into your pocket once again, and show me the world
teach me about the rivers that are safe to drink from
and how to tell what time it is based off the position of the sun in the sky
pop that collar, roll up your sleeves, publish that book, tie your shoes, turn down the music, let's get to work
no more naps for me,i haven't been sleeping through the night
the harvest is soon, let's get picking
